LUKE MAYERNIK (b. 1981) is an internationally acclaimed and award winning composer/organist.
Career highlights include: First Prize - American Guild of Organists' National Competition in Organ Improvisation (2004); First Prize - International Organ Improvisation Competition hosted by the Royal Canadian College of Organists (2008); First Prize - International Organ Improvisation Competition hosted by the University of Michigan (2014).
Awarded Associate certificate (AAGO) by the American Guild of Organists (2004).
Honored by the Royal Academy of Music in Split, Croatia; International awards in composition: bronze medal (2011) and gold medals (2012 and 2013) at CROPATRIA Sacred Music Festival, Croatia.
Mr. Mayernik's compositions are published with Oregon Catholic Press, GIA Publications, World Library Publications, Santa Barbara Music Publishing, Graphite Publishing, and Walton Music.
Luke is currently a graduate student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying composition with
Dr. David Conte.
