Giving Opportunities

Concert and Worship Service Underwriting

You can be named as a partial underwriter of a concert or worship service during the convention. There are three giving levels: $2500, $5000, and $10000 – based on the event. Information on performers and venues can be found by clicking  here.


New Music Underwriting

Seventeen renowned composers have been commissioned to write new works for the organ repertoire that will receive their world premieres at the 2016 AGO National Convention in Houston. There are three giving levels: $1000, $3000, and $5000 – based on the length and type of composition. Information on the pieces and composer bios can be found by clicking  here.


Workshop Underwriting

Over 60 workshops will be offered over three days of the convention. The giving level to underwrite a workshop is $500. Information on workshop presenters and topics can be found by clicking  here.


Convention Attendee Bags Underwriting

Every convention attendee will receive a handsome messenger-style bag that will feature the AGO 2016 logo on one side and the logo/name of the underwriter on the other side. This is an opportunity for you to place your organization/business in front of every attendee during the convention and many others after the event as previous attendees typically continue using the bags. A donation of $12,000 is required to underwrite this item. Further convention advertising details and online booking is available here.


The 2016 Club

Benefits of your 2016 gift include convention registration, convention transportation package, one banquet ticket, and support of student scholarships. The Clyde Holloway Memorial Fund

This fund was established in May, 2014, in memory of Clyde Holloway (1936-2013), former professor of organ at Rice University and Organist-Choirmaster Emeritus at Christ Church Cathedral, Houston. Gifts to this fund are welcome in any amount and will help underwrite the four organ concerts held at Rice University’s Organ Recital Hall during the convention.

We also welcome other gifts in any amount. Your gift can also be designated “in memory of” or “in honor of” the person(s) of your choosing.
